Bratkartoffeln
Traditional German Fried Potatoes with Turkey and Cherry Tomaotes

made with: Potatoes, Onions, Bacon & Parsley
added: Turkey and Cherry Tomaotes for a complete Meal

  • i cooked the potatoes the day before
  • fried onions and bacon first, then the potatoes
  • left the potatoes alone in the pan, they need to fry slowly

and it was delicious :XD:

thought i might share this with you :drool:
especially as dA has this category, so why not use it once?

it's not a very light meal, you know ;p
but it's one of the most delicious and simplest to make
on the same time it's a lot you can mess up on this one, too :|
It is said, that a Cook is only as good as his Bratkartoffeln!
i liked mine... :D

and here in germany everybody would tell you, that the ones their mom made are always the best :yum: :heart: it's true

heisst "fried" nicht gebraten? :confused: ok, vielleicht wäre pan-fried besser gewesen
...ok, braten und frittieren heisst dasselbe auf englisch :roll:

achso ja wusste nur das fritieren fried heißt, naja die engländer und amerikaner frietieren eh alles dick mit fett und 10 schichten schokolade drum und dick teigmantel und danach ist man fetter als die freiheitstatur^^
