Monkees vs. Gorillaz

I started this actually last August... then tried to make it a digital painting but lost interest. And it looked off. Of course my initial plan was to obtain the drawing look of Jamie Hewlett but i wasn't capable of that

Anyway, it was time those 2 bands meet
I like and listen to both; kinda freaky since one is 60s pop and the other is... whatever it is

So, this is 100% vector. I used some simple pointed brushes to get the sketchy look. One with one end, another with two. Just some gradients and cell-shading. Pretty simple, the line art was the hardest part (and expanding it later, which is just annoying ^^)
