I'm going to use it for my personal book folder but I have a question, Is it possible to obtain the same icons but with white alphabet letters in the color part? Like A in the red one, B in the blue one....
Or like the old iBook one but with the letter in the page marker?

I am afraid I don't have the .PSD files for these anymore
You are welcome to edit the icons yourself, as long as you do not redistribute them and only use them for yourself

Sweet set, would love the psd so as to customize for my computer, whose folders are in bad need of an update, and these would rock with standard icons embedded for mavericks system replacement.

These are really nice, clean and professional in execution and appearance.
I have many user accounts on my personal computer in order to seperate workflows (Admin, CS5, AutoDesk, Fallout Mods, Research, etc) and to provide recording backgrounds that address the audience.
So to say the least I have an expansive collection of icons to customise each account. And having seen many, many icon sets, to most I say, "that will fit" because they are a simple variation on a well established theme and while they took effort on the part of the artist, they in themselves are not remarkable.
Then there are those who go all out, totally original, but that would make my desktop and OS their's, I'm to selfish for that.
Your Icons are classy, and lend themselves to be used along with the icons of others, and in themselves are remarkable.

Personally, I haven't played in customization a lot lately; both creating things and customizing my desktop. So I am not up to date at all 
I was wondering if the icon was used for Zenwriter because if so then thats really cool! Definitely using one of these for a new zenwriter and sketchbook pro icon
