It's one of those internet memes. No idea who originally came up with it. So I am afraid I cannot give proper credit. I am sure you have seen it before (if you have a link, I'd gladly take it ^^)
Do I have to explain? Basically it's a compromise about what you want your partner to be. I think it's pretty accurate.
Tell me if you disagree Discussions are awesome! And lately I love to be a little graphic and controversial. But before you say "Naaah, that's not true." step back and think about it.
This is where I try to decide... which of those am I?
Haha!
Which then makes me consider... in what areas am I emotionally stable? if I'm not emotionally stable, is it because of my situation or my genetics? Both? Is it fixable?
If I'm intelligent, isn't there always someone more intelligent than me? Maybe I'm good at math, but there are people who work half as hard as me and do twice as good. And I cannot navigate a road trip for the life of me.
If I had to choose a measurement that bothered me the most, it would be intelligence. Because how can you measure intelligence? Even a mentally retarded autistic person could be considered a genius in physics or math... usually subjects we associate with "smart" people.
It seems to me that in life there are very few truly stupid people. Even the ones who make poor grades can have a social intelligence that I do not possess. It's like Einstein said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
And finally... beauty. We all know that someone appears more beautiful to you as you grow to love them. But the whole thing with beauty is definitely relative. I agree that it is a shame that there are women on posters, magazines, and movies everywhere. Perhaps not so much for the standard... we all know that there are some women who are undeniably beautiful no matter what time period/culture we're in. But what bothers me is how much society says it matters. I hate when guys talk to a girl who is plump, and when she walks away they laugh about how "fat" she is. And I had just been thinking of what a pretty face she had. And then the magazines appeal to the majority of women who feel they are overweight by occasionally lambasting skinny girls, saying they look unhealthy and "God how ugly!" But I'm unusually skinny in my arms and legs and couldn't gain weight if I tried.
Since it gives us the most grief, I think so many in our world today would rather be beautiful than intelligent or emotionally stable. Guys are naturally sight-wired and women naturally want to be pretty from the time they are very little. It seems wired into us.
So what is my conclusion? I'm not sure exactly...
Perhaps that people cannot be conveniently measured. Everything is so relative, so dependent on circumstance, genetics, the person in question.
If people could be put into nice little equations I know I'd be a lot happier. Haha!

Thanks for the insightful comment I am glad the poster made you think about it and I agree with you!
This statement I made of course is not something that should be taken 100% serious, but a mind game. If it makes you disagree, that is fine, if you agree, that is fine, too.
All those 3 points are subjective It depends on yourself, if you can find someone like that. It depends on how you define those things. But it is very often very true.
luckily life isn't based on equations
