Hi ^pica-ae, tell us a little about yourself and your style of Art.
- Hi! I am a web designer form Hamburg, Germany. In my spare time I have always enjoyed doing any kind of art. When I was smaller I started with Watercolors and moved on to Oil, before I went to design school and focused mostly on digital art.
My style… I am not sure I found it yet. Well, I am always looking for it, tho! I see finding one's style as a constant struggle. In my works you can find lots of bright colors, very often things are kept simple, minimal maybe in content or simple in composition. Mostly I try to keep away from

I am pretty happy with the outcome of this one :B

Doing this one was a lot of fun, even if my hand hurts a bit now :giggle: My steps are roughly: line art sketch / color blocking / blending / facial lines / hair / effects

When it comes to effects… I added some noise, as well as adjustments via levels and color balance. They can really help enhance the colors and make the image more vivid.

To mention: no liquify this time! :la:

And for resources… make a guess :meow: Hint: there is a mirror on my desk. ;)

Lovely details here!
I love the shiny details in the iris.
I might tone done the brow bone highlight just slightly, however.

Otherwise, stunning work! :clap:
