A typography experiment I started today :)
I am exploring the areas of Text-based Imagery, because it is one of the Digital Typography galleries on dA I haven't submitted anything to yet.

I am working on creating a series of images that all fit to the category, but are very different from one another.
For now, I have been increasing the difficulties of the style. This is not the first experiment, but the second. The first however is so simple that I am not sure if I want to post it at all

This is not ASCII!
But it is built up on the same principle ;)
It is not ASCII, but Text-based Imagery.

What's the difference?
Hey, I am glad you asked! ASCII relies on usage of mono-spaced solid colored (black) fonts and a special program to create the piece. (Well, theoretically it could be a typewriter, but that's a different story ^^)
However the font I used is not monospaced at all (Century Gothic) and the program is Adobe Illustrator.

I figured out a fairly easy and lazy way to create the impression of an actual ASCII artwork. Then I added a colored gradient, just because I could and dislike just black on white text :B
