How to Create a Witch’s House Scene with Gradients in Illustrator

I am still working on more illustrations with this style, might be I will be able to put them together in a calendar this year
This one is supposed to be a little witch hut in a "scary" forest.

Entirely done from scratch in Illustrator, no other sketches and no tracing anything

I did however browse dA a lot for witch houses and similar images for inspiration. To link all those images would be too much… It's a wild mix and I kinda have the feeling I was also inspired by the Asterix comics Probably also by Terry Pratchett's Discworld witches

Anyway, hope you like it
