ArtHistoryProject is looking for more articles :la: There is a variety of topics we can write about (all of art history, basically, which is… everything, kinda :meow:)

Check out the Art History - Sign Up journal for more information on the whole project! Simply watch the group and comment on that journal to add yourself to the list :)

(If you're not a Renaissance "fan", I am sure you will fond some other era in that list you may be interested in writing for/about!)

This is a call out for all of you to join the group in writing aricles about the topic of Renaissance in special.

Personally, the Renaissance is one of the most exciting periods in art history and all of history for me. It was an era marked by huge progress in all areas of life and the beginning of the modern age.  It was not only the reincarnation of the Antique, but also a big step forward for mankind.

Christopher Columbus made it across the Atlantic, Martin Luther translated the Bible, Galileo Gelilei re-invented astronomy, Isaac Newton revolutionsed physics, William Shakespear wrote his masterpieces… there are almost too many amazing person to mention them all!

And I haven't even started about the artists yet ;)

Renaissance (1400–1550)

This is the basic time frame we are looking for. Even though I mentioned Shakespeare, he will be part of the Tudor, Stuart & Commonwealth England (1485 - 1714) area.

There are already some deviants that signed up to write articles :la

This list already reads full  of awesome :eager: :excited:

Other ideas for articles are Brunelleschi (Painter), Bellini (Painter), Bruegel (Painter) or Bosch (Painter).

You do not have to write an article about a specific artist, you can also choose to write about a style, medium, technique, theme etc.

I hope you will join the project as it is awesome! It's a lot of fun to research and out together the articles.

Timings are still being worked on :)

So yeah, check out the Art History - Sign Up to add yourself to the list :la:

:happybounce: :iconarthistoryproject: :iconcommunityrelations: :happybounce:

and for good measure…
