I of course own the copyrights, and redistribution of my font is not permitted in the terms for the font. In addition of being a permission issue, it is also a misrepresentation, as the person is only offering the regular style of the font, when it is a complete font family, intended to remain in tact, and it's an outdated version of the font.
I think they declined it because in the additional text box, I may have 'gone out of pocket,' by mentioning that this has been an issue for-ever on dA (regarding font submissions in general) and suggesting to counter the problem, perhaps when someone submits a deviation to the stock and resources font folder, they be informed that they must have permission to redistribute the font, and then they must acknowledge that they do in fact, have permission. They could do this with a check box or radio button for example.
I don't know, in any case, I was just supprised that they did not remove it, since they always have in the past. I can cite several locations where my authorship of the font and ownership of it's copyrights. One being my own submission to deviantART. And I did provide them that info in my report as well.
Is this how it is now? DeviantART does not respect the copyrights of fonts now? If so, that's pretty sucky in my opinion. Your insight would be greatly appreciated.
I mention this here because you link to the article on reporting deviations, and of course this pertains to typography so I assumed that perhaps font copyrights might be considered a concern here too. Thanks in advance.

This blog may explain some things, that concern this issue: [link] (tho its not exaclty refering to that)
As I am not totally up to date with those things, it may have changed in the last month, I would always suggest you send a ticket to the Help Desk
I always thought the DCMA was only a second option, especially used by people who do not have a dA account and therefore cannot use the report system.
The font gallery suffers from a lot of copyright violations, people even submit the fonts that are pre-installed on their PCs to the gallery, assuming those are "free fonts"
I hope this helped you a bit
Not sure how long it will take to have the deviations in questions removed, but I hope it wont be too long
